CAMMSE Center Director Dr. Wei Fan was invited to give presentations

CAMMSE Center Director Dr. Wei Fan was invited to visit the Qilu University of Technology at Jinan, Shandong and Hebei University of Technology in Tianjing, China from June 9 – June 12, 2019. Dr. Fan met with several professors in the Departments of Statistics and Transportation Engineering and discussed the potential for research collaboration in the future. During his visit, he also gave two talks entitled “Variable Speed Limit Control at a Lane Drop Bottleneck: Tabu Search Based Metaheuristics Approach” at the Qilu University of Technology on Monday June 10, and “Tabu Search Strategies for Variable Speed Limit Control at a Lane Drop Bottleneck” at the Hebei University of Technology on Tuesday June 11, respectively.
