CAMMSE Center Staff Dr. Martin Kane conducted educational outreach activities to the “Youth in Planning Day” organized by the Charlotte Planning, Design & Development at the City of Charlotte

Each summer, the Charlotte Planning, Design & Development Department invites youth from our community to the Government Center for “Youth in Planning Day”. The day is filled with fun and educational activities for children to learn about planning, local government and our city. Approximately 15 children were invovled this year. The children left from the Bland Street Station around 11:46am and arrived at the UNC-Charlotte Station at 12:27 p.m. The children left UNC-Charlotte on the 2:09 p.m. train. CAMMSE Center Staff Dr. Martin Kane conducted educational outreach activities to the “Youth in Planning Day” organized by the Charlotte Planning, Design & Development at the City of Charlotte by touring the UNCC Engineering Department (ages 12 and up) and discussed about transportation at first hand.
