The First CAMMSE Research Symposium was successfully held on August 6-7, 2018 at UNC Charlotte in Charlotte, NC. This event had a two-day duration. August 6th was the main research symposium that was open to researchers and practitioners working on topics related to CAMMSE. On August 7th we had the CAMMSE executive meeting closed to CAMMSE members that involved a progress report of the UTC, reports by CAMMSE affiliates, changes and updates in the internal RFP’s, education and outreach activities, and technology transfer.
