CAMMSE Center Director Dr. Wei Fan was invited to visit the Shijiazhuang TieDao University, Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, China from June 17 – June 18, 2019. Dr. Fan met with several professors in the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering and discussed the potential for research collaboration in the future. During his visit, he gave a talk entitled “Optimal Variable Speed Limit Control in Connected Autonomous Vehicle Environment for Relieving Freeway Congestion” in the 1st International Transport Frontier Seminar of Hebei Province at Shijiazhuang Tiedao University，Shijiazhuang, HeBei, China, on Tuesday, June 18, 2019.
